Return Policy
We offer an easy and straightforward process for returns, refunds, and exchanges. If you are not fully satisfied with an item you purchased, you may return it for a full refund, minus the shipping costs, provided that the item is returned in complete, like-new condition within 60 days of purchase. Exceptions to the shipping costs apply for items that are found to be defective or damaged at the time of delivery. Please note that returns eligible for shipping reimbursement will only be compensated up to standard shipping rates. We do not reimburse expedited or express shipping costs.
No Return Policy for Rally Installations: Any products installed at rallies by Extreme Audio installers are non-returnable and non-refunded. This policy applies to all items installed during rally events, regardless of condition or warranty status.
Return Authorization
Before returning any defective items, you must contact Extreme Audio Tech Support 920-684-0996 for authorization. The returned item must include an RMA form.
Affirm Purchases
For items purchased using Affirm, please be aware that a 10% fee will be deducted from any refund. This fee is charged to us by Affirm when you authorize the purchase, and we pass this charge on to the customer. Shipping charges, including those for the original shipment, are non-refundable.
Warranty Overview for Electronic Items
Defective or Damaged Items
Extreme Audio provides a comprehensive warranty for all electronic items purchased. In the event that an item is defective or damaged upon arrival, it is eligible for either a replacement or a full refund. To initiate the return process, the customer must contact Extreme Audio Tech Support at 1-920-684-0996, Ext. 5 for authorization before returning any defective items. Additionally, a photograph of any minor damage (e.g., broken parts) will be required prior to sending a replacement. For defective electronics, the item must be returned to Extreme Audio for inspection and evaluation before a replacement is sent out.
Warranty Period
Electronic items are covered under a standard warranty from one to five years from the date of purchase, depending on the item. After 60 days from the purchase date, customers are responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning items for warranty claims. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship but does not extend to damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized alterations. Products installed at rallies by Extreme Audio installers are not eligible for warranty claims due to the no-return policy.
Field Destruction
In some cases where an electronic item is beyond economical repair and cannot be returned due to safety or environmental concerns (field destruction), the customer may be asked to submit proof of destruction. This typically applies to speakers that are no longer functional or repairable. The required proof may include photographs or documentation that confirm the item has been properly disposed of or destroyed according to safety guidelines.
Return Process for Defective Items
Contact Extreme Audio Tech Support: Before returning a defective item, customers must contact Extreme Audio for authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Return Authorization: Upon approval, you will receive specific instructions on how to return the item, including where to send it and any packaging requirements.
Replacement or Refund: After the returned item is evaluated and determined to be defective, Extreme Audio will provide a replacement or issue a full refund based on the customer’s preference. If the item is eligible for a refund, the shipping costs for the initial purchase may not be reimbursed unless the item was defective or damaged at the time of delivery.
Conditions for Warranty Claims
To ensure the integrity of the warranty process, returned items must meet the following criteria:
All items must be in their original packaging, with all included accessories, manuals, and materials.
Items should not show signs of misuse, physical damage, or alterations (e.g., tampering with serial numbers, misuse of parts, or improper handling).
The warranty covers only defects in materials and workmanship, not damage caused by external factors such as environmental conditions, accidents, or improper installation.
Products installed at rallies by Extreme Audio installers are not eligible for returns.
